P.S. All the charts and quizzes I took said I was having a Girl, then at my fist U/S they discovered I’m having a BOY! So I don’t put too much stock in those old-wives tales or even the ancient Chinse Gender Calendar since even that told me I was definitly having a Girl. LOL
But they were fun to do anyways.
alot of those are old wives tales, and they all pointed to me having a girl…..but im having a boy. You can always try the chinese gender prediction chart. even if its not right its still fun
just google it and it will take you to it, also follow your gut. I just had this feeling the whole time it was a boy despite all of the little old wives tales saying it was a girl i just had this deep down feeling it was a boy and i was right.
The ONLY thing I have ever noticed when guessing the gender on a pregnant woman is this:
a woman who has a boy gains all the weight out front in her belly (that was totally me!)
a woman who has a girl gains weight all over. you can see the weight in her face, neck, arms, etc..
OF COURSE it’s not 100% accurate. Just telling you what I notice.
I had terrible morning sickness and I read somewhere that it could have been intensified by being pregnant with a girl as there were higher levels of estrogen than if it had been a boy. I did have a girl, so maybe it was right.
what? jibberish i fear, anyway an old wives tale is to have a male (only) drop a needle and tread between the gap in your left hand between your index finger and your thumb when your hand is flat. (palm facing sky) Drop the needle (keeping hold of it) through this gap 3 times whilst your hand is flat, then hover the needle of the middle of your hand if it swings round and round its a girl an in a line its a boy.

There are a few but the one you were talking about is that if little boys are nice to you and cling to you then your having a girl and if little girls cling to you, your having a little boy. This one didn’t work for me, but it did for my sister-in-law. Another one is take a ring, put it on string and then over your belly. If the ring moves in a circle it’s a girl and if it moves back and forth it’s a boy. I didn’t try this one but your also still early so just be patient and wait. If you want to try more just look on yahoo or google and type in old wives tales about pregnancy or something like that.

My friend constantly told me that since her 10 month old daughter loved playing with me and didnt fuss when I held her that I was having a girl. I found out at 15 weeks….that its a boy!! lol So I really dont trust that superstition all too well.
The heartrate was another one — if the heartrate is fast (150+) it’s going to be a girl. If it’s lower (120-140) its a boy. Well i’d like to say that my baby’s heart rate was 160-170 for the first 4 months of my pregnancy. It’s now 146. again – Im having a boy! So that one’s kind of shot.
Ummmm a needle on a string…if you swirl it in a circle and it goes one way its a girl and another way its a boy….definitely dont trust that one!
The types of food you eat — fruits, nuts = girl. Meat=boy.
I ate nothing but watermelon for the first 3 months of my pregnancy…..and still can’t eat meat without getting sick in the stomach. Again, Im having the BOY! so that can’t be true!
All in all, I think you’re going ot have to wait another month or so to find out just what you’re having/ Trust me, I know it sucks!!! But youll make it!
